The resort...
Col des Mosses is a family friendly resort that is now linked by bus to Leysin, a long time favourite for
ski groups. A sunny resort close to the Diablarets glacier, Col des Mosses offers a safe village with a
variety of shops and amenities.
The skiing...
Skiing at Col des Mosses takes place in a bowl starting at 1450m and rising to 2200m. Here you will find a
relaxed atmosphere with skiing on wide open pistes or through the pine trees. The resort is close to Les
Diablarets and its glacier and so has an excellent snow record troughout the season.
The resort offers 50kms of pistes that are perfect for beginners and intermediates with a good variety of blues
and friendly reds that inspire confidence and ensure that progress is made during the week. For more expert
skiers there are some challenging reds and blacks, together with the pistes at Leysin.
Your accommodation...
The hotels, a 3* and 2*, are located in the village next door to each other and are run by the same family.
The 3* hotel offers 25 rooms all with en-suite facilities, TV and balcony.
It can accommodate 100. Rooms are for 2-6 persons and there is a lift.
Parking for coaches. The restaurant enjoys an excellent reputation.
Your 2* hotel is simple, homely accommodation for 60 persons. The hotel
comprises 14 rooms over 4 floors, all with ensuite facilities. Not pictured.
Apres ski...
Snow tubing, skating and curling in the village, bowling in Chateau d'Oex
and a sports centre and swimming pool in Leysin are some of the options.
