New Resort - Interlaken and the Mighty Jungfrau region.
Located in the German-speaking heart of Switzerland, Interlaken offers winter sport's fans access to some of the most spectacular skiing in the Alps, with their base in a service-packed small city in a spectacular lakeside setting. The Jungfrau Top Ski Region, is a huge area containing more than 160 Km (100 miles) of trails in ski centers above Grindelwald, all linked to Interlaken by a mountain railway included in the ski pass.

Your 3* hotel is located quite centrally, 200m from the
Interlaken EAST Station at the quiet end of Interlaken's
famous high street, Höheweg.
It is the perfect location to start a visit to the
mountains and the pistes of the Jungfrau as it is close to
the station and only a 5 minute walk to the town centre
for any evening activities at the end of the day.
There is parking for coaches 200m away.
The rooms are individually furnished with shared
accommodation for students and twin/single rooms for
teachers. Rooms are en-suite with TV, telephone and radio. There is a meeting and games room for groups.
The Skiing...
Dramatically set in magnificent scenery directly beneath the towering north face of the Eiger, the
largest of the Jungfrau resorts - Grindelwald - offers something for everyone.
There are nursery slopes just above Grindelwald, including the new blue piste at Oberjoch, a ‘slow speed
zone’ . Quick progress will be made with lessons from the excellent English speaking Ski Schools.
The full area Jungfrau ski pass covers 213kms of pistes, providing almost unlimited scope for
intermediates on a range of relaxing runs or more testing routes down the Kleine Scheidegg mountain.

Apres Ski...
There are a variety of activities that are possible both in Grindelwald and Interlaken. Ice skating,
tobogganing, climbing wall, swimming, bowling and curling are all possibilities during a visit to this
internationally renowned area.
