Our accommodation is located in the town of Bourg St. Maurice at the foot of the funicular railway that connects to Les Arcs 1600. The town offers a traditional contrast to the purpose built ski stations with streets full of character, shops, restaurants, museums typical of a savoyarde town. The Saturday is worth a visit dependant on travel times.
The skiing...
This resort has become part of one of the largest interconnected ski and snowboard areas in the world. Les Arcs recently
linked its trail system with that of La Plagne via Plan-Peisey. The combined area is called Paradiski and has 420 km. of trails.
The resort is snow sure and has a long season making it ideal for early and late season holidays at realistic prices. Whilst the
easy green runs are not numerous, there are plenty of wide forgiving blue runs for both beginners and early intermediates to
enjoy. More experienced intermediates will be in heaven and advanced skiers paradise - just its name suggests!
Your Accommodation...
The village "Vallee Haute" comprises four two storey buildings set in 5ha of parkland.
It's located 2km from the town centre with a bus link to the funicular to Les Arcs. It has a
capacity for 92 in 52 units, en-suite, in apartments for 4,5,or 6 persons.
Each apartment has a small kitchen and the centre has a bar, TV room and a restaurant.
