The Resort
La Clusaz is a lively village with plenty of ambience and charm. The building style is very traditional in wood and there
are few high rise buildings. The Church with its onion dome forms the centre around the square and its here that the
colorful market is held. Apres-ski includes the aqua-centre and ice skating together with a variety cafes and bars.
The Skiing
La Clusaz has been a resort since 1908 and is part of the Domaine Aravis which extends to 220km. The skiing is varied
has something to challenge all levels. There are nursery runs on Beauregarde and L'Aiguille with green and blue runs
that will soon inspire confidence. For intermediates and advanced skiers the pistes of the Col de Balme, with its stunning
views of Mont Blanc, are certainly challenging.
Your Accommodation
Our 2* hotel occupies an elevated position which
overlooks the village and slopes. The hotel has recently been
extended and refurbished in the traditional rustic savoyarde
stlye. Rooms are multi-bedded for students and twin rooms for
for staff. The restaurant serves excellent food, there is a
meeting room and for relaxation there is a pool table and a
swimming pool shared with the sister hotel next door.
Our other 2*accommodation is located about 20 minutes away
in a nearby village, yet easily accessible for the slopes and all
amenities. The hotel has multi-bedded en-suite rooms for
students and twin rooms for staff. There is a bar and restaurant
together with a meeting room and TV/games room. 51 rooms.
