The Resort ..
Kitz is a charming, fashionable and very traditional Tirolean town. As you would expect in a resort with an international reputation there is a fine choice of shops and boutiques, cafes restaurants, night clubs and casino. The buildings are traditionally styled and several are painted on the outside. Kitzbühel is a lively town throughout the season and is ideally located for a short transfer from Salzburg or Munich airports.
The Skiing...
Is extensive and wide ranging. The area extends from the village of Kichberg along the valley to Pass Thurn. Snow conditions permitting, its possible for any intermediate skier to ski the "safari" which links runs along the valley for a total of 35km before getting a bus back to town. Otherwise there is plenty of choice for all standards on the Hahnenkamm and snowboarders will love the runs and snow park on the Kitzbüheler Horn.

Your Accommodation .
We have chosen three possibilities in the town. The Hotel Maria Theresia is a well known 4* hotel located just outside the town centre. It offers a high standard; all rooms are en-suite with hairdryer, telephone and cable TV There is a 24hour reception, cocktail bar and sauna. The Hotel Edelweiss 3* has a homely, cosy atmosphere and and prides itself on a personal service and value for money. The rooms are comfortable with en-suite; most have a balcony. Gasthof Eggerwirt 3* is a traditional hotel and one of the oldest in Kutzbuhel established in 1658. Located in a quiet position just outside the centre, the rooms are well equipped and comfortable.

The Resort...
St. Anton has a compact village centre that is bustling, lively and sophisticated. The resort has a reputation for attracting keen skiers from all over the world and is established as one of Europes leading resorts.
The Skiing .
The village is at 1304m (4276ft) and the skiing reaches 2811m (9840ft). The area is vast and covers not only the mountains of St. Anton, but also the neighbouring villages of St. Christoph, Lech and Zurs. It offers some of Austria's most extensive and challenging skiing. The beginner slopes are just above the village towards Nasserein and are ideal to ensure rapid progress. For intermediates there are numerous runs with plenty of challenges to be found on the slopes of the Gampen, Galzig and Rendl areas. St Anton is paradise for experienced skiers with endless challenges on and off piste.

The 4* Hotel Sonnenheim is a family run hotel that is located close to the finish of the World Cup finishing area and next to the lifts. A 7 minute walk to the village centre the Sonnenheim extends a warm welcome in a refined environment. The rooms are spacious with all modern comforts. The Hotel Manfred 3* is situated close to the centre and is a pretty, family run establishment. Rooms are comfortable and spacious and there is a fine restaurant. Fondue specialities are served in "The Train" which is decorated as a train station. The Hotel-Pension Rosa Canina enjoys a quiet setting on the outskirts of the village but close to the lifts and runs. Its possible to ski back to the hotel, snow conditions permitting. A bus stop just outside the door links the hotel to the village centre. The Rosa Canina extends a warm and relaxing welcome to their guests.
